Maplease wear masksks Required in City Buildings

In light of the recent surge of individuals contracting COVID-19, effective immediately, all staff and members of the public entering City buildings including City Hall, the Family Recreation Complex, Public Works, Omar K Lightfoot Center and the Public Library are required to have their temperatures checked and to wear a mask. In-person library programs have been suspended until further notice. City facilities will be cleaned and sanitized regularly to further mitigate any spread of the virus. All are encouraged to wash hands frequently and avail themselves to hand sanitizer from dispensers placed throughout the buildings. Social distancing is encouraged. Individuals who are experiencing symptoms of the virus are requested to stay home.

The Coronavirus and its variants still pose a threat to those who have not received the COVID-19 vaccine. The shots are readily available in the Temple Terrace area. 911 Hand

If You Can't Call 9-1-1, You Can Text 9-1-1

Residents or visitors to Hillsborough County can send a text message to 911 for help during an emergency. While calls are still the best and fastest way to contact 911, text messages are an option when a call may not be possible. Adding text to 911 will help make emergency services more accessible, and safer for anyone in need of help but unable to call. For more information, watch this video.
